Great song writer

I'm new to John Prine but have to say I love his voice and his honest quirky lyrics in his songs. If this album is typical of him I'll be checking out his other albums too. The vibe is old blues but with a little humour in there too. His vocal & writing style reminds me of Lucinda Williams whom I adore. My pick of the tracks is "When I Get To Heaven" The reference to smoking a cigarette 9 miles long when he gets to heaven made me smile from ear to ear :)
Highly recommended to all.
