George Harrison — Live In Japan (CD1): Reviews
The Best Live Harrison
(This review applies to both CD1&2). There are various live Harrison concerts available out there, but this is by far the best. With special guest Eric Clapton along for the ride, Harrison runs through his catalogue of compositions both from his solo career and from his time with the Beatles. The band is right on the money, and the edits are perfect making the two CD's feel like a seamless concert. My only complaint is that the recording is a typical arena concert hall recording of the era with too much audience and the band not quite as up front in the mix as they should be. But for a historical artifact that's held well over the years, I really shouldn't complain.
