Road Diary is a movie that shows the E-Street band assembling and rehearsing for their first tour in 6 years. Sidetracked by Covid, the band had not been able to tour together. With an expanded line-up including horns, back-up singers and an extra percussionist, the tunes on this soundtrack of that tour are well mixed and balanced with much better sound quality than the individual concert cd's that are released after each stop on the tour. This mix is bright and well separated, and instead of sounding like a wall of sound, individual instruments and voices are heard and very much appreciated. The best of Bruce's live concert albums. And if you haven't seen the film, it's a must see with great vintage footage from the very early days of the band.
