A Very Complete Collection

A+ for the completeness and a B for the fidelity. The Three Sounds were a great trio that had a solid career going until the departure of Gene Harris. Collaborations with horn players like Stanley Turrentine were well formed, but their intricacy as a trio was their strong point.
Alway in the groove and never straying too far from a 'cocktail room trio' songbook, they were excellent. Even their originals sounded like standards. Never to be remembered in the same manner as groups like MJQ, they are a part of jazz history that deserves its due.
