Perfect Summer Album
The perfect summer soundtrack, this album is a collection of refreshing, thoughtfully written and energetic songs with pieces of each of the songs' 5 writers embedded deep within. A fabulous, witty and honest documentation of love, loss, loyalty and heartache which deserves to be heard by everyone. Title track "Room On The 3rd Floor" is poignant, touching and often funny. Also be sure to check out the fabulously thoughtful and heartbreaking "Not Alone", pretty ballad "She Left Me", a song which will undoubtedly be related to by teenagers and nostalgic adults everywhere and the wonderfully Sixties-esque "Met This Girl" as well as the smash hits. The energetic "5 Colours In Her Hair", more soulful "Obviously" and the wonderful "That Girl".
Here's to McFly. The only known teenagers in Britain to write a song entitled "Broccoli" and, with some help from their clear song writing talents, make it sound respectable, more than decent and well, actually very very good.
Great summer time driving music.
