Eels are good for you
30.09.2019 by Tom Howard (See all user reviews)
This is the 10th album by Eels and it's got more of a collaboration going on where the writing is concerned and as a result it feels more like a band kind of album as opposed to feeling like a solo vehicle for the front-man genius who is Mark 'E' Everett. It's a bit of a slow burner but all the better for it as it rewards your patience with songs that will be playing for years.
This is more of a rock album which must be the influence of the other band members having more input than usual.
Great album & highly recommended.
