Bruce - still the Boss

I played this album for the first time, not really expecting anything too special. I thought, just Bruce doing homage to some early American folk songs. How wrong I was. The songs are exceptional and Bruce performs them with integrity and genuine feeling. True, a couple of the tracks are a bit ordinary, but some are absolutely terrific .
A surprisingly memorable album which I can't stop playing.
