I have to admit I had never heard of Sky until I saw her on a live music programme. I was captivated and blown away in equal measure when she performed the song 'Boys' I was transported back in time to great female artists like Debbie Harry and Chrissie Hynde. The greats of the 70's & 80's couldn't be defined. They just oozed quality. And here is that invisible nameless class in abundance. Great songs full of edgy guitars and dripping in attitude. Fantastic! This has been one of my favourite finds of the year. Best tracks (for me) are "Boys", "24 Hours", "Nobody Asked Me (If I Was Okay)", "I Blame Myself", "You're Not The One" & "I Will"
If you love early Blondie and that vibe then I urge you to buy this now!
Highly recommended.
