This album was an experiment for the talented Ólafur Arnalds from Iceland and the exquisite piano playing by German / Japanese artist Alice Sara Ott. To take pieces by the master Chopin and mix into them pieces of your own is very risky. But it works and works perfectly well. This is a journey of moods. Like all moods they can build and build until suddenly crashing with barely a heartbeat to show they're still there. It truly is a work of art in the truest sense.
Singling out extracts is difficult and pointless. Take it in it's entirety. Sit back after a bad day and let it soak into your skin. Feel it wrap around you and take that stress away.
It's just simply beautiful.
