As Al Kooper put together BS&T, Mike Bloomfield assembled a group of musicians to form The Electric Flag. Incorporating an amazing horn section into a seasoned group of blues musicians was a task that lead to this amazing album. Like Kooper and BS&T, Bloomfield stayed for only one album with this gang, but as part of his amazing legacy, it stands out as a stellar achievement. A great, great record.
