A beautiful album
This one-time offering from KD Lang, Neko Case and Laura Veirs is one of the best deals on this site.
Not only do these three collaborate well but each is featured in songs that establish their strengths..
It's a bit over-produced but that doesn't seem to detract from the intensity of the vocals or their harmonies and may actually help wring out some of the exquisite background detail sometimes missing from purely acoustic recordings.
Hypnotic and a bit pop in places but the skill of these three singers always shines over any weakness in content.
A must hear for any fan of these women.
Burns nicely at 320kbps without sounding overly pinched.
