"Async" is the work with which Ryuichi Sakamoto returns to music after his long disease. It is a pleasure to find him back in such a good shape. "Async" is a great work that returns to the origins of Sakamoto's piano music, mixing it with his most recent researches about sounds and drone music. The result is a powerful mix of music and ambient sounds that seem to start a new chapter in Sakamoto's music. Fresh and original.
