H-D-H was responsible for lots of great music after they left the Motown fold, and here are 14 Volumes of 'singles' (including some forgettable B-side intrumentals) that they released over a roughly 9 year period. The music has a familiar vibe to it which after a while can get tiresome, but there are enough forgotten gems here to keep your interest. Unfortunately most of the versions are mono single mixes, and with stereo versions available, it's a shame they used the original '45 mono mixes. But give an A for historical accuracy and enjoy the fact that these forgotten tunes are available once again.
