Underrated gem

World Party are one of those bands that you listen to and wonder with a sense of confusion why they didn't achieve more success. The vocals are great. The songs are fantastic and the production is faultless. Their songs have been critically raved about and been covered by some of our biggest stars. And yet there will be many people who are unaware of them.
What can I say? This music doesn't age. It matures like a fine wine and the writing is so good that a lot of these songs are still totally relevant today. In some cases they're even more so today than they were then.
Do yourself a favour and listen to this band.
Highly recommended.
