Both parents were folk musicians. So he's double talented.
you can't miss this album..
Folk and classical influences,guitars,violins,piano and ...oh my god! ..don't miss it!!!
Beautiful songs
Tom Baxter is an English singer & writer that hasn't released a lot. Mainly because the success wasn't to be seen even though he has deserved all the accolades that a musician can be bestowed with. As a result I think he has been concentrating on creating his art and exhibiting it. A very talented man. If you want beautifully written songs sung with a voice that sounds like it lives in the depths of his heart then this is one that will grow and grow over the years and become a part of your life (just like his first album 'Feather & Stone')
Stand outs for me are "Skybound", "Better", "The Last Shot" & "Icarus Wings"
If you find that you love his voice and would like more class songs try his younger brother 'Charlie Winston'
Highly recommended.
