A Work Of Art
This is an album that reveals it's intricate layers over time. Whilst there is an ongoing 'theme', each track stands tall on it's own.Chris Duncan's classical training is very apparent, but he has created new music from old influences and his music is entirely his own. It is so refreshing to find music that does not sound like anything else out there. Chris has been allowed to record his music without a producer 'directing' him and it is all the better for it. His gorgeous harmonies are all his own, not technical trickery. As a live act, he and his band are hypnotic, transporting you far away from the present and really are a 'must-see'. There are many great tracks that didn't make it on to this album, so I'm really looking forward to the next one! I have lost count of how many times I have played this now, but each listen brings new rewards. Highly recommended. BUY IT NOW!
