The breakout....

Boz Scaggs had made good music before this album, but when "Lowdown" hit the airwaves, everything else was eclipsed. With great danceable beats and some wonderful ballads, this very slickly produced session became Scaggs best-selling album. Interestingly enough, it still sounds fresh and lively today, not matter how familiar some of the tunes are. Highest recommendation possible. You'll play it once and then continue to come back to it.
