Yeasayer — Amen And Goodbye: Reviews
Good album
I had never heard of this band so when I came across this and realised it was their fourth album I was amazed that they'd managed to slip my radar for so long. Their sound is upbeat, intelligent and infectious. There are obvious hippie influences from Sgt Pepper and they reminded me also of some great Australian indie bands of the late 80's and early 90's. Favourite songs are "I Am Chemistry", "Silly Me", "Dead Sea Scrolls", "Gerson's Whistle", "Uma" and "Cold Night"
Recommended.
