Euro Pop
WOW! This isn't vintage Pet Shop Boys. It's good though. Very much inspired by 80's & 90's euro pop. It's almost like stepping back in time. All that's missing is Antoine De Caunes introducing them onto Euro Trash muttering ra-ra-ra-peeeeee-doh! Excellent album production sounding very crisp & fresh (despite the obviously intended retro vibe)
I've always loved this duo & the whole electro/synth generation. Stand out tracks for me are "The Pop Kids", Twenty-Something" and "Undertow" but every song is strong. Great for us oldies craving that aged sound of our youth without having to retread old footsteps with over played tracks. This is something old & new rolled into one neat little package.
Great sound. Recommended.
