Excelente interpretación de estas dos obras de Rutter: Gloria y magnificat. Rutter es un compositor del s. XX que ya está totalmente integrado en el repertorio coral, especialmente de los colleges ingleses, en donde las voces de soprano y contralto son cantadas por voces blancas. Stephen Cleobury es uno de los mayores expertos en este tipo de coros y por supuesto en la obra de John Rutter. El resultado de la grabación es magnífico, con voces bien empastadas, buena dirección y musicalidad y una orquesta formidable.
