Lovely
This is Agnes Obels third album and it's a slight departure from her fist two. Having said that you can still hear her distinctive quality throughout this. It's darker. Deeper. Less dependent on her sublime piano and incorporating more instrumentation. She hinted that she would progress with each album and explore her musical mind and it's nice to see and hear that she has remained true to her word. I love her bravery at releasing whatever she enjoys to play and has added a couple of beautiful instrumentals ("Red Virgin Soil" & "Grasshopper"). Other tracks that have caught my ear (so far) are "Stretch Your Eyes", "Familiar", "It's Happening Again", "Trojan Horses" & "Mary"
This is best enjoyed in a dark room with a pair of headphones on.
Highly recommended to all that need to unwind & relax.
