La versión del Mesías de Handel de Trevor Pinnock es todavía una de los referentes en la interpretación historicista. A pesar de haberse grabado en los años 80, se trata todavía de una versión plenamente vigente, con excepcionales cantantes solistas y un coro y orquesta perfectamente cohesionados. También destaca la buena dicción del coro, en donde en todo momento se entiende perfectamente el texto y las frases musicales. Una grabación imprescindible y de referencia de esta obra.
