WOW!
I've only recently listened properly to this album and all I can say is congratulations!. What a great collection of songs. Father John Misty has such a fantastic voice. I can see places where small adjustments and improvements could be made but not many! But I'll be listening to their earlier work with interested ears in the hope that's it's as appealing. Favourites for me are "Pure Comedy". "Total Entertainment Forever", "Ballad Of The Dying Man", "A Bigger Paper Bag", "When The God Of Love Returns There'll Be Hell To Pay" & "So I'm Growing Old On Magic Mountain"
Well worth your time. The production is close to perfect and the orchestra is excellent too.
Highly recommended.
