Their best in over a decade by far!
I've loved DM since the beginning when they had Vince Clarke of Yazoo & Erasure fame. And this is still strong 40 years on. Incredible how they continue to sound so fresh. Lyrically this is one of their most political to date and written with the eyes and conscience of men who have grown up. I haven't been so excited about a DM release since "Playing The Angel"
Depeche Mode are keeping up their tradition of strong songs that actually come from somewhere real. The heart.
Favourites are "Going Backwards", "Cover Me", "Poison Heart" & "No More (This Is The Last Time)"
Good to have them back. Highly recommended.
