George Formby — Remember The Good Old Days: Reviews
Lancashire Legend!
Many of these songs in this collection are songs I often heard my grandfather sing to me. I used to laugh so hard at his facial expressions as he sang but I never got the innuendos at the time. I never know where the songs came from until after he passed away. I found old vinyls of his albums & it all suddenly made total sense.
I listen to these songs with a great sense of nostalgia. George Formby was such a massive star at the time.
Songs from a time when people were going through lots of hardships and songs like these brought people together & kept their spirits high.
Priceless!
Recommended.
