Eclectic static
Jeb Loy Nichols is giving us a big variety of styles here. Usually his albums are narrower in vision & sound but on this album he's enjoying the full gambit of his eclectic tastes & letting the listener sit back & enjoy the ride. Country funk is the closest description I've heard. The bottom line is that this guy is good at doing what he loves & I am exceptionally good at sitting back & enjoying the end results.
This guy is unlike anyone else out there loving the retro vibes.
Authentic. retro & new all at the same time.
Highly recommended.
