Parov Stelar — The Burning Spider: Reviews
Brilliantly weird
I love this album. The combination of old blues artists remixed into an electronic dance vibe is very reminiscent of Moby & Fatboy Slim but Parov Stelar have managed to slide swing music into the mix too. On paper it wouldn't work but it does brilliantly. This artist has pricked my ears a few times in the past but this collection has turned me into a fan. Favourites for me are "The Burning Spider", "Step Two", "Soul Fever Blues", "Mama Talking", "State Of The Union" & "Black Coffee"
Great summer time album.
Highly recommended.
