To Requiem του Webber ειναι γραμμενο στη μνηνμη του πατερα του,συνθετης κι εκεινος,ονοματι William Lloyd Webber,που πεθανε το 1982.Το εργο περιλαμβανει χορωδια τρεις σολιστ,και μια μεγαλη ορχηστρα οργανων με ντραμς και συνθεσαιζερ.Εκανε πρεμιερα στις 24/2/1985 και ελαβαν μερος σπουδαιοι εκτελεστες,οπως ο σπουδαιος μαεστρος, βιολιστης και συνθετης, Αμερικανος εβραικης καταγωγης Lorin Maazel,παιδι θαυμα που διηυθυνε στα 11 του χρονια την NBC Συμφωνικη Ορχηστρα στο ραδιοφωνο.ΟΙ τρεις σολιστ ειναι ο Placido Domingo,τοσο σημαντικος που δεν θελει συστασεις,ο Paul Miles kingston. Aγγλος τραγουδιστης που πηρε μεγαλη φημη σαν αγορι-σοπρανο που γεννηθηκε το 1972,αρα οταν τραγουδησε στο αλμπουμ ηταν μολις 13 ετων και η Sarah Brightman,εκεινη την εποχη συζυγος του Webber,εξαιρετικη τραγουδιστρια και στην οπερα και στην παγκοσμια μουσικη.Η ορχηστρα,πολυ σωστη,με σημαντικοτερο hit το Pie Jesu που ερμηνευουν εκπληκτικα η Σαρα με τον νεαρο Πολ.Το εργο κερδισε το 1986 βραβειο grammy για την καλυτερη συγχρονη συνθεση κλασικης μουσικης.Μνημειωδες εργο.
