Darker but very good
This is the second offering from the husband & wife partnership[ of Kami Thompson (daughter of Richard Thompson and Linda Thompson) and James Walbourne. This is getting back to traditional folk with some dark elements that really grab your attention & make you listen with a solemnity which hasn't happened to me for a while so that was notable.
Much more stripped down with sympathetic production values which has to be appreciated.
All in all a lovely collection of well written & excellently performed songs from this marital duo.
