Wonderful weirdo
Benjamin Clementine is an odd fish! He has such confidence & character. The presence in his eclectic words are captivating. And the progression from his first album is apparent too. Although there is still humour throughout this album there are also darker more political elements too. Mr. Clementine is forging a place into the annals of music history and the world of music is so much more interesting for having him in it.
Loving the whole album but the stand outs for me personally are "God Save The Jungle", "Phantom Of Aleppoville", "Jupiter", "By The Ports Of Europe" & "Quintessence"
Well worth a listen & a place in your collection.
Highly recommended.
