No fillers!
Yet another Goldfrapp album which goes to show what accomplished talents this band are. The heavy disco glam rock sound has taken a back seat and been replaced with more sympathetic melodies and takes you into a darker place inhabited by adults that have grown up and no longer see the world with optimistic eyes that are computed by naive rose tinted minds. Having said that you will be left feeling good about the world afterwards. They are so odd and eclectic from one album to the next that you never know where you'll be taken next. And that, for me is what makes them such an exciting breath of fresh air. We need more artists like this. Original & unforgettable. Do yourself a favour and buy it.
Favourites for me are "Little Bird", "Happiness", "A&E" & "Caravan Girl"
