Timeless & Classy
I've often wished we had artists on a level with the likes of Nat King Cole or Frank Sinatra. They weren't the purest voices but they had something undefinable. A quality that lifted a song and took it from good to great. How did I miss the fact we already had someone? Seal. He's already made a brilliant album of soul standards and now he's back giving his magical touch to these great classics. He sounds wonderful and the production on the orchestration is faultless. One of the best albums I've heard this year.
Highly recommended for your Christmas playlist.
