Back to their roots
Chvrches gained success with their first album "The Bones Of What You Believe" and were tipped for big things which had them touring America with the release of their second album "Every Open Eye" but it didn't make the waves they were hoping for (even though it was better in my opinion). This third release sounds more like their first album so I guess they're attempting to recapture that excitement from earlier on. I hope this receives airplay as they always make good albums. They don't change the formulaic synth pop sound but I like that as there aren't many around anymore.
Highly recommended album from a great Glasgow band.
