Brilliant!
Ben Howard has managed to surprise everyone here. Gone are the catchy radio friendly melodies and in their place are haunting, moody complexed arrangements reminiscent of Damien Rice. This is my third album by Ben and each one brings something different to the party & I love that. The layers of sound & voice here demand a listeners full undivided attention. Without that you're not going to appreciate the work that he has poured into this collection.
His best yet? Maybe.
Highly recommended.
