Johnny Marr — Call The Comet: Reviews
Brilliant
Johnny Marr was the undisputed genius behind the world conquering sound of that Manchester band The Smiths. Years on and he's still producing excellent albums and this is one of his best yet. When you listen to his style of guitar playing you can't help notice all the bands around that must have been influenced by his iconic sound. There is still a hint of The Smiths here but don't be fooled. This isn't a trip down memory lane. Call The Comet stands alone with all the other new releases and it kicks most of them into touch.
Highly recommended.
