Bill's Daughter Has a Great Voice, but......
McKenna Medley is the daughter of Bill Medley (of the legendary Righteous Brothers), and while she obviously learned from a master, her talents are somewhat wasted in this effort. The song selection is terrific with classics revived and reimagined by her talent, but the arrangements are stilted and played with perfunctory precision and no soul or feeling for the songs. Put a really good band behind her (like Linda Ronstadt had over the years), and I'll bet she could make some really great noise.
