Good music...
Elvis is back (after a cancer scare) and delivered a fine collection of ongs. Is it his best? Well....every fan can argue until the cows come home on which is his best work. This isn't it. But it's a good collection with contributions in writing from his old friend Burt Bacharach & Carole King. What a pair of friends to have! So the quality is there. The production is excellent too. And the arrangements are borderline heavenly.
If you're a fan you'll love it.
If you're young & angry go for some of his earlier work too.
Spike, for me, is a classic album....this is a grown up Elvis.
Highly recommended.
