Brilliant
This was Lisa Hannigan's full speed attack onto the music world. Not her first release but definitely her strongest collection by a country mile. The production stands out on this album too compared to her others. More upbeat & energetic and so lovely to hear her feeling & sounding like a bird finally released from the cage of only being known as that woman who sings on Damien Rice's songs.
This time Lisa has recruited Ray Lamontagne onto one of her songs "O Sleep" and he fits into Lisa's style perfectly.
If you only own one Lisa Hannigan album (but why own only one?) make it this one.
Highly recommended.
