Album of 2019
This, for me is the most important discovery of the year. If I hadn't seen it on songswave I'd never have known of it. I read that Lucinda Williams has been mentoring him recently & it shows. Every song is strong. The vocals are fantastic. Production is faultless. Some good guest appearances from a variety of talent. "Shining Down" is a lovely tribute to Tom Petty who Jesse watched perform alongside Lucinda Williams for what would turn out to be his final tour.
This is the best album I've heard all year.
Very highly recommended.
