If the only track she had ever cut was Party Lights, Claudine Clark would still be a forever legend. Cut at the end of session, this one take classic even has the drummer losing the beat at the end of the track. But it's a classic, and it got Claudine a full album. This is it, and while her range isn't much, she puts more soul into her tunes than most other soul singers. So sorry that Motown didn't pick up her contract, because they would have made her into a star. A fun record, and a great artifact of the rock and roll era. Party Lights will make you dance!
