Excelente interpretación de esta obra de Howels. Stephen Layton consigue una muy buena sonoridad del Choir of Trinity College de Cambridge. Las voces suenan bien empastadas, con buena dicción y musicalidad. Sin duda, una de las versiones de referencia de esta obra, bajo la dirección de un polifacético director de coro que ha grabado numerosos discos, de música muy variada, poniendo especial énfasis en la música antigua y contemporánea.
