The Verve — Urban Hymns: Reviews
Brilliant
This has been a favourite of mine since it's release almost 20 years ago. Why? Because its a classic. A masterpiece. 'The Verve' were a local band to me. Just up the road in Wigan and they blew the charts away when they released this album. There are loads of songs worth coming back to time and time again and if you're not familiar with this I urge you to buy it and add it to your collection. There are no weak tunes here but the most popular are "Bitter Sweet Symphony", "Sonnet", "The Drugs Don't Work", "Weeping Willow" & "Lucky Man"
A real gem that has stood the test of time.
Highly recommended. Buy it now, thank me later.
