MTT and the LSO
This recording of Tchaikovsky's Manfred Symphony is excellent. Extremely well recorded and performed, it's a great example of Tchaikovsky at his peak. Some of the LSO recordings are not always revered, but this one is terrific, no doubt because Michael Tilson Thomas pulled out some of their most competent performances. Worthy of a spot in your library!
