Von seiner ursprünglichen Band MELISSES hat sich Hristos Mastoras mittlerweile fast vollständig emanzipiert, wahrscheinlich auch, um sie nicht zur bloßen Begleitband zu degradieren. Oder die Band hat aus dem gleichen Grund selbst die Reißleine gezogen... Wie auch immer: Der Qualität von Mastoras' Musik hat das absolut nicht geschadet. Im Gegenteil: Seit längerem erscheint ein tolles Lied nach dem anderen von ihm und man muss den Sänger deshalb nunmehr zu den wirklich großen Stimmakrobaten Griechenlands zählen. Ein mehr als hochwertiger Tupfer in der nun wahrlich nicht talentarmen Popwelt des Inselstaates am/im Mittelmeer. Klasse! Und gerne weiter so.
