Hannah James, Sam Sweeney — State And Ancientry: Reviews

1 5

Great folk duo

19.10.2019 by Tom Howard (See all user reviews)

Sam Sweeney (Bellowhead) & Hannah James had already made a critically acclaimed album called Catches & Glees which was nominated for a number of folk awards and this was their much awaited second project together. The production is excellent but that's no surprise as it was produced by Andy Bell of Erasure fame.
The selection of songs is a beautiful collection & is such a relaxing & sometimes haunting ensemble of tunes.
Recommended.
