Ιρλανδεζα τραγουδιστρια,γεννηθηκε το 1955 σε μουσικη οικογενεια,με πατερα βιολιστη μητερα τραγουδιστρια και αδελφια με δικο τους μουσικο συγκροτημα.Γεννημενη μεσα στη μουσικη λοιπον,αρχισε να τραγουδα παραδοσιακα τραγουδια της Ιρλανδιας,σε ηλικια 8 ετων και οσο μεγαλωνε,τραγουδουσε με τ αδελφια της,σε μικρα κλαμπ.γυρω απο το Δουβλινο.Σε ηλικια 20 ετων περιοδευσε την Ευρωπη με μια μικρη μπαντα και ηχογραφησε το πρωτο σολο αλμπουμ της(ομονυμο)που αρεσε κι εγινε χρυσο.Απο κει και μετα εκανε πολλα αλμπουμς με επιτυχια,πηρε πολλες διακισεις και βραβεια, ελαβε μερος σε μεγαλες συναυλιες και φεστιβαλ.Το Hidden harvest(κρυμμενη,κρυφη συγκομιδη) κυκλοφορησε το 2001,σε folk celtic ηχο,ως συνηθως,με ωραια τραγουδια,καποια παλια και καποια καινουργια,με την εμβληματικη.Ιρλανδεζικη φωνη της να κυριαρχει.
