80's Pop Perfection
When this band first emerged onto the charts with the song "Wood Beez" I was instantly a fan. There was nothing else around that came close to the sound that Green Gartside had developed. And sitting here 30 years on I'm amazed by how fresh & original this still sounds. Fresh & catchy tunes that will make their way to the top of anyone's playlist. If you are looking for an important album that has been forgotten by many for some strange reason then this is it. It's strongest songs are "Wood Beez", "The Word Girl", "Absolute" & "A Little Knowledge"
Do yourself a favour and add this to your collection.
Let them sink into your psyche and thank me later.
