George Benson — Breezin' (Bonus Tracks): Reviews
Crossing Over
With this set, his first for Warner Brothers and his first to be produced by Tommy LiPuma, George Benson crossed over from the jazz charts into the r&b and pop charts. The original album contained five instrumentals and one vocal, a version of Leon Russell's "This Masquerade". The album comes highly recommended. The bonus instrumental, "Shark Bite" is also worthwhile.
