Tracy Chapman — Tracy Chapman: Reviews
80's Classic
This was the album that launched Tracy Chapman onto the music world as a tour de force. She just appeared from nowhere at festivals armed with her acoustic guitar and blew up the stage with her electrically charged political songs of revolution & love. It's a must have for everyones collection. If you love music and great writing with a voice that melts butter then you NEED to have this in your player. Top songs from an album of killer tunes are "Talkin' Bout A Revolution", "Fast Car", "Across The Lines", "Behind The Wall", "Baby Can I Hold You", "Why?", "For My Lover" and "If Not Now..."
This really is a classic. Buy it now. Thank me later. 28 years on and it's still a favourite of mine.
Highly recommended.
