If you only buy one Camel album
This is the one to start with, it's a gem from the first cut to the last.
Avoid getting a remaster with added content,
it's not necessary since this album stands on its own.
I can't tell you anything about the evolution of this band except through their music and this is the first Camel album I bought ages ago in vinyl which actually packs more punch as a 320kbs CD burn through an audiophile quality player.
This is the kind of progressive rock guitar-based instrumental genius that drives your energy all the way through
and it led to me a collection of beloved Camel works that span 20 years.
